“Why did you decide to open your own shop?” It’s a question that is always part of the conversation. The simple answer… “Why not?” The better answer?
At this point in my career, I have been able to work and learn in many facets across the broad world of stage automation; from Rock and Roll tours to Cirque du Soleil, I helped to build and maintain equipment for some of the largest acts in the country. I've been the Head of Automation for a commercial shop, and followed that as a mechanic and show operator for The Metropolitan Opera.
Having spent 10+ years working in so many facets of this industry, I felt the time was right to take the knowledge, skills, and perspective I have focused and honed over the years and create a company where those can be put to use.
